When I look at Kent State, I see a little taste of heaven. Some students may disagree with me. But let me explain…
Kent state is home to over 300 different people groups from all over the world. I have met so many amazing people in my four years at Kent State, and some of them are from places I’ve never even heard of! I’ve had the opportunity to experience different cultures just by hanging out with people I met on campus… who gets to do that!?
Revelation 7:9 says, “After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands.” What this verse tells us is super cool. It literally says that people from every nation, tribe, people, and language will be standing around the throne of God.
So when I say that Kent State is a little taste of heaven I’m not talking about the weather, tuition rates, or cafeteria food… I’m talking about the people! The 300+ nations represented here will be represented around the throne as well- what a beautiful thought!
